Eyes slowly begin to peel open. Mouth dry... uh-oh... that just can't be good. And morning breath

. Two big green eyes are staring intently at me.
"Mommie? Can I watch Mickey Saves Santa???"
All ready, that may be Mickey Makes Mommie Go INSANE Before the Holiday Season is Over. Since Thanksgiving, that is becoming a very used DVD.

How is it that kids latch on to something and want it over and over and over and over again. Most of the time, I am able to block stuff like movies out. I think I'll be able to with this one over time. After all, I've been able to write this much on my blog before without really having to stop!

And it could be worse... it could be the Bratz dolls or something crazy like that. Personally and from a mother's stand point, we have told everyone that anything Bratz is not allowed in our home. Bratz... even the name is awful!!!! and to have little girls play with dolls with whore make-up, clothes that don't cover even half the body and boobs that are even bigger than the average woman.... it's pathetic. What's worse is that they are so popular. I just don't get it..... Okay... that's quite a side track....
Last week while shopping, I took the girls into the Christmas section of the department store we were in. And of course, all the girls wanted to turn on the little stuffed animals that move and sing. Frosty, Santa in a rocking chair, A pink cat with super huge red lips that blinked her long eyelashes and sang Santa Baby, Rudolph, and a few others were there. We listened to them, much to the dismay, I'm sure, of the store attendants that were there. So I didn't really think much of when Pumpkin hit the button for another Santa. It started singing the "I like to move it, move it" song and then, the Santa swivels around with his bee-hind in the air and his bum cheeks twirl up and down and ewwww... I am extremely put out and horribly mesmerized by it all at the same time. And the girls.... the girls were laughing sooooo HARD!!!! Every one of them thought it was absolutely hysterical. So if you do happen to come across the Booty Shaking Santa.... be forewarned.
Yesterday the big tree in the sunroom went up. As with most Christmas decorating it seems, we had to move things all around. Where the tree usually goes is where all the girls had their toys so everything had to be shuffled around. Mom C took over. Okay..... and I disappeared into the house because both of us trying to do it together was just not going to work. I would had hated to bite the tip of my tongue off.
It's a fake tree, but of really nice quality. The girls had a great time helping Papa put it together. He was getting a tiny bit frazzled by all three of them asking for help all at the same time, so I let him off the hook and went out to help, too. Honey was supposed to help, but he got a call from an older woman in town who is moving closer to her son in a few days. She wasn't sure how to safely pack her computer and asked for help. He was gone longer than he wanted to be and by the time he got back, all but the top branches were put together. And then the fun started when he and Papa started putting on the lights. Oh how funny those two can be. And the lights weren't helping AT ALL. They'd have almost the whole tree taken care of when part of a strand in the middle went out. They couldn't find the problem bulb so they'd have to unwind it all again. This happened three times!!!! They were working when they tested them, but for whatever reason.... wellll.... It was really funny. We all laughed and said that it was Mepa playing tricks. Unfortunately, that really upset Mom C as of course, Mepa is her dad and this is the first Christmas without him here.

We may have to do a little tight rope walking this season...
Thursday, we may get some snow!!!

I've gotta say now that it looks super gray outside today and it's pretty darn cold out there. I wonder if the snow is going to hold off until then. We've already seen a few snow showers and such, but nothing has remained from them. I get the feeling that Honey really isn't going to be able to finish the garden.... whoops!!!!
Okay, well.... as much as I'd like, I just can't sit here and type all day. Humm... I wonder if I could though. I think I could. I think I could type all day long. I wonder what would come out if given the opportunity, but, there I go rambling again. Dishes to do, holiday projects to start, kids to feed and laundry to wash... Yup.. I'm outta here!!!

Cheers! ~MacKenzie
