tee hee. I'm actually back to where I started my day. The house is completely quiet. Not even the cats are making any noise. The girls, after an EXTREMELY LONG day are sound asleep. Only, it's not coffee I'm drinking at the moment; it's tea. And it's wonderful!
We left around 10 this morning and finally pulled back into the driveway a little before 8 this evening. I must admit, the girls are not the only ones who are tired.
Pumpkin's dentist appointment didn't go as well as hoped. About a month ago, she lost one of her canine teeth on the bottom. The hygienist explained that she's actually not supposed to loose those until she's between 10-12. AND, it's better that she loose them both. Because her permanent tooth is not ready to come in, the other teeth are seeing it as "free space." There's a possibility that her teeth will try and shift a little bit to the left to take advantage of that. Because there is was no dentist available to consult with, the hygienist is going to call me tomorrow. She thought there was a possibility that the dentist would want to pull the other bottom tooth to prevent the shift. OMGoodness! I hope that won't happen. But if that is what is recommended, we'll probably go along with it only because if we don't, there could be even greater problems later on.

(my poor baby!!!!)

Well, my girls managed to make me cry at Wal-mart. Yep. We were walking down an aisle when Pumpkin mentioned that Daddy wasn't going to be home tonight. Both Monkey and Parrot stopped what they were doing and both look at me. "Is Daddy dead?" they ask.

No, no! So I stopped right in the middle of the aisle and explained again that Daddy is going to be in a meeting for the next few days. He will be home on Sunday. They just must not have understood when we told them last night. They were really tired. Tomorrow I know that Honey has an hour or so to himself around noontime so I am going to call him on his cell phone and hopefully the girls will be able to talk to him. He better take extra good care of himself because now that I told the girls that he's okay, he has to come home on Sunday!
Well, I guess I am going to try and put the rest of our shopping stuff away. I'm trying to waste time because there is an annual meteor shower around this time of year and with the skies crystal clear, the moon just a sliver, it's good shooting star weather!!!Unfortunately, it's been my experience that the best time to see them is between 12-2. I KNOW I can't stay awake that late, but hopefully I can make it another hour or so... we'll see....
Have a great evening!
Cheers! ~MacKenzie
